This world is constantly at war: long wars and short wars, distant wars and nearby wars, wars that we hear about through the media, and many others whose existence we are unaware of. Hundreds of little boys and girls murdered, hundreds of names and stories we have no clue about.
This is a fictional story about a little girl caught in the middle of a war. A story which brings together different artistic disciplines. Because from a certain point on, we all begin to have a figurative conversation with death, but children caught in the middle of a war converse with death in a different way.
The picture book on which this story is based received the 2025 National Prize for Children’s and Young Adult Literature.
