Gelajauziak
Traditional dance is the mother of all dances; it is from which we dancers and choreographers nurture ourselves. Still, every word –every dance step– arises from a dancer’s interpreting, inventing, a new step. It is an action which is always contemporary, evolving with the times.
Jon Maya Sein and Cesc Gelabert have come together to create this choreography in which some very traditional concepts of dance are reviewed from a new, more contemporary point of view.
